The successor to the Pioneer SC-LX81, the SC-LX82 amplifier has the same power and design as its predecessor, while incorporating new ICE Power technology, an additional HDMI port, DLNA network technology and THX Ultra2 Plus certification.
Developed with the help of engineers at the prestigious Air Studio, the Pioneer SC-LX82 A/V amplifier is optimized for High Definition, decoding Dolby True HD, Dolby Digital plus and DTS-HD Master Audio to give you the full range and accuracy of the high-definition soundtracks found on the new Blu-ray Discs. Automatic MCACC calibration, standing wave control and phase control adapt the sound to your living room setup, so the SC-LX82's 7x190 watts of power are always fully utilized.
This Pioneer amp's comprehensive connectivity includes five inputs and two outputs for HDMI 1.3, which are compatible with Deep Colour and 1080p/24 cinema format, making this Pioneer integrated amplifier the control center of your high-definition home cinema system. Connect all your HDMI sources to the SC-LX82, link it to your flat screen and projector, and you're done. The USB port on the front of the system can also be used to connect your USB flash drive or iPod and even your iPhone, so you can enjoy your compressed audio and video files in better quality thanks to Advanced Sound Retriever technology.
With an Ethernet connection and DLNA certification, the SC-LX82 amplifier lets you listen to radio stations from around the world via the Internet, or access your photos, music and movies stored on your home network. The backlit remote with LCD display has a learning function to acquire programs from other remotes in your home, so you can control most of your devices with a single remote.
