The preamplification section of the Hegel H360 was designed with audiophile in mind, while the onboard DAC inherits the technologies implemented for dedicated DACs with of course DSD64 and DSD128 compatibility. The USB port is asynchronous in order to allow the Hegel H360 to manage the rate and regularity of the audio stream extracted from any computer (Mac, PC) or NAS. The clock in charge of this task was developed by Hegel and allows to remove any jitter from the audio stream. It is therefore an audio stream that is strictly identical to the digital file that is converted into analog signals.
