Careful Class AB: Unlike Class D amplifiers (which are often cooler), this French Class AB design preserves the harmonic richness and natural dynamics of recordings.

What he won't do (to avoid misunderstandings):
✖ No class-D "punch": If you're looking for an ultra-dynamic amp for EDM or home cinema, a Purifi or Hypex will be more suitable. It doesn't try to flatter with an artificial or demonstrative sound signature.
It won't suit fans of raw power or spectacular effects.
✖ No built-in preamp: You need a source with volume (DAC with pre, analog streamer, or dedicated preamp).
✖ No official 4Ω HP output: better with 6-8Ω speakers (although it tolerates occasional 4Ω dips).

There are no digital inputs or "modern" functions: here, it's the purity of the analog signal that counts.
