The Cocktail Audio N15D network audio player is equipped with a 32-bit / 384 kHz and DSD 64/DSD128-compatible ESS Sabre 9018 DAC, plus an internal hard drive slot to accommodate thousands of CD- or Studio HD-quality audio files.
The Cocktail Audio N15D network audio player is compatible with the DLNA DMS (server) and DMR (renderer) protocols, and can therefore be used with a smartphone or tablet as the target playback device. This applies to MP3 or CD-quality files, as well as studio quality files. The AirPlay protocol is supported for playback from Apple computers, iTunes, iPhones and iPads. The player is natively compatible with the Spotify Connect protocol, so it can be used with Spotify's official mobile app, as well as with Windows, Mac OS and Linux versions. Finally, a free Music X NEO control app provides access to Deezer, Qobuz, Tidal and web radio.
Thanks to the integration of a Samba and DLNA server, the Cocktail Audio N15D network player can not only share the contents of its hard disk, but also store files from a computer over a home network. Copying from a USB stick directly connected to the N15D is also possible.
