At the heart of the DX160, an Octa Core processor combined with 2GB of RAM powers the operating system, Android 8.1 Oreo, to deliver an experience that's both fluid and intuitive. This flexible OS allows you to install compatible applications with the aim of adapting the user experience to your desires and needs.

The Google Play Store is not available on the DX160, and applications can be installed directly via .apk files.

Dual DAC CS43198
The digital/analog conversion stage features two CS43198 DAC chips designed by Cirrus Logic, enabling independent conversion on each channel. These chips deliver excellent audio performance, with dynamic range measured at -130dB and THD+N at -115dB, for precise, lively and rich reproduction.

What's more, the CS43198s are particularly well-suited to battery-powered systems, since they are optimized to offer low power consumption and therefore maintain good autonomy.

Finally, these converters support high sampling rates, enabling playback of PCM audio streams up to 32bit 384kHz and DSD up to DSD256.

Large screen, intuitive interface
The Topping DX160 features a large 5" screen with 1080p (Full HD) resolution, displaying all the information you need to navigate your applications and audio files. The particularly intuitive Android interface makes it quick and easy to get to grips with the player.

Battery life
With its 3200mAh battery, the DX160 has no problems with autonomy. With up to 13 hours of continuous playback (after a full charge), it's the ideal companion to take with you on the move. What's more, it incorporates Quick Charge 3.0 (QC3.0) technology, enabling it to be recharged very quickly.

Autonomy depends on the resolution of the files played and the impedance of the headphones used.

Dual output, WiFi and Bluetooth
The DX160 offers two output connectors. One is a balanced 4.4mm TRRRS (Pentaconn) jack, and the other is a 3.5mm jack that doubles as a line and coaxial output. Topping's DAP also supports remote transmission via WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0.
