For sale is the digital audio card (DAC) for a McIntosh C2500 preamplifier/preamp.
McIntosh's official service department replaced this entire board, along with the control board, due to a suspected problem with the unit's DAC. These two boards are interconnected (they are placed side by side in the unit).
It could still be working correctly, but the control board could have failed, but I don't know if this was also damaged or if it was simply replaced along with the control board because the service protocol is as follows...
If it works, it's a bargain... or if someone knows electronics and wants to check/repair it.
