The Thorens TD 402 DD turntable is the first direct-drive model from the Swiss brand. Semi-automatic, it features an MDF chassis and brushed aluminum top plate mounted on vibration-absorbing feet. Equipped with a TP 72 carbon tone arm and an Audio-Technica VM95E cartridge, it delivers quality sound reproduction with low levels of distortion. The turntable incorporates a disengageable phono preamp, enabling connection to any stereo amplifier or RIAA preamp. Its direct-drive motor guarantees stable rotation, and features an automatic start function. Easy to install, it offers a warm, natural and dynamic listening experience to favorite vinyl records.
