The B et W 704 S2 floorstanding loudspeaker is a 3-way model featuring Aerofoil, Continuum and Carbon Dome technologies, with 13 cm drivers and a carbon dome tweeter. It replaces the B & W CM8 S2 loudspeaker, from which it differs thanks to new drivers and higher-quality electronic components. This loudspeaker delivers a neutral, full-bodied sound, with a wide soundstage.
The B et W 704 S2 loudspeaker inherits proven B et W technologies, including the famous Nautilus tweeter loading and very rigid, yet highly damped driver diaphragms. The British brand has thus taken the reproduction qualities of the 700 range to a whole new level. The new transducers benefit from damping components to optimize their operation, with a synthetic gel used in the tweeters, for example. Passive crossovers incorporate high-quality capacitors.
