I'm selling my Magellan Quatuor loudspeakers, the flagship of the new MAGELLAN 40th Anniversary edition, due to a move upmarket (Lawrence audio dove diamond).
The speakers were purchased in April 2022. Sidereal black finish, perfect condition.
TRIANGLE's trademark 16cm midrange driver with paper diaphragm and small pleat suspension ensures highly neutral sound reproduction without the slightest coloration of the vocal register.
The powerful, full-bodied bass of the 3 x 16cm drivers is perfectly suited to modern music, from a prestigious string quartet to a cello suite. Its proprietary Sandwich Verre Alvéolaire membrane and cooling system give it exceptional performance in the bass and sub-bass registers.
Its extended bandwidth and high power reserve make it easy to add sound to rooms larger than 30m2.
Inheriting a new Magnesium alloy dome, its horn tweeter gently and precisely reveals the finest details of your recordings. The Quatuor 40th is distinguished by the addition of a rear tweeter, enabling the speaker to radiate energy to the front and rear of the emission point. As a result, sound volume is better distributed and speaker positioning simplified.
