The 300 Series features many improvements over the entry-level 100 Series. This enhances both audio and aesthetic performance, in keeping with its more upscale status. New tandem-designed custom drivers offer seamless tonal integration, as well as low distortion and high processing capability.

The 28 mm aluminum dome tweeter also features WDT Wide Dispersion Technology™.

A redesigned 130 mm aluminum midrange driver uses a ceramic aluminum sandwich cone and a long-throw motor system.

The seamless cabinets are made of 18 mm inert high-density MDF and feature exclusive internal reinforcement technology to reduce case coloration. They are finished in open-grain walnut veneer, piano gloss black or white lacquer.

The result is a set with high-end finishes that delivers a refined, precise and, above all, enjoyable musical experience.

ACOUSTIC ENERGY AE300 loudspeakers: The bookshelf version of the 300 series

The AE300 is a compact floorstanding loudspeaker suitable for small to medium-sized rooms. Following on from the award-winning AE100, it offers a significant improvement in audio quality, materials and cabinet finish.

Following in the footsteps of the original AE1, the AE300 uses the latest generation of our 130 mm bass-midrange drive unit. Featuring an all-new aluminum-ceramic sandwich cone, ultra-flat profile and long-throw, ultra-high-force motor system, this new driver offers improved dispersion, extended bass snap and overall power handling.

The 300 Series features a new 28 mm aluminum tweeter with high power handling and low fundamental resonance for reduced distortion. The advantage of this new design is the excellent dispersion provided by Wide Dispersion Technology waveguides. The waveguides shape the tweeter's acoustic output to match that of the woofer, offering a wider sweet spot in your listening environment.

The inert 18mm high-density MDF cabinet uses exclusive bracing technology derived from the award-winning Reference Series, to reduce cabinet coloration and allow the new transducers to breathe freely in the listening environment. The slit-shaped port at the rear of the speaker increases bass output. Its shape reduces the effect of air turbulence for clean, distortion-free bass performance.

Finished in high-gloss Piano Black, white or satin-finish real walnut veneer. The AE300 will blend easily into any home décor, placed on speaker stands or shelves.
